2023 Youth Development Camp Registrations Open
The NZIHF is proud to announce the return of regional Youth Development Camps throughout 2023.
These camps are available to all male and female players, born from 2005 through to 2016. Coaches will group players by appropriate age and level of experience.
Our aim is to provide New Zealand’s youth players with a FUN and age-appropriate on and off-ice training. Training in the camp is largely based off of USA Hockey’s use of small area skills and station work.
These camps are not designed for beginner skaters. It is expected that all participants, regardless of age, can adequately skate. If you are unsure then please speak with your club head coach prior to registering.
Queenstown – Queenstown Ice Arena – 6-10th April 2023 (Easter Weekend) – Featuring coaches from USA Hockey
Goalies 2002 born and younger now eligible too!
Players born 2010 – 2016 – $175.00 (instalment plan available)
Players born 2005 – 2009 – $195.00 (instalment plan available)
Dunedin – Dunedin Ice Stadium – 2-5th June 2023 (King’s Birthday Long Weekend)
Players/goalies born 2005 – 2016 – $150.00 (instalment plan available)
Christchurch – Alpine Ice Arena – 4-6th August 2023
Players/goalies born 2005 – 2016 – $150.00 (instalment plan available)
Auckland – Paradice Avondale & Botany – 20-23rd October 2023 (Labour Weekend) – Featuring coaches from USA Hockey
Players/goalies born 2010 – 2016 – $175.00 (instalment plan available)
Players/goalies born 2005 – 2009 – $195.00 (instalment plan available)
Specific start times and full event itineraries will be provided to registrants closer to the time of each camp.

Once logged in, you will be presented with your dashboard where you can register for events.
You will see an event on screen that you can register in: Note – the screenshots below show the NZIHF Men’s Triple Star camp for demonstration purposes.
Fill out your details as required, accept the required waivers and then proceed to checkout.
After you have accepted the above, it will take you to your ”Shopping Cart”, from here you can review your order total and click “Check Out” to pay via credit card.
Once you have paid, you will receive an email confirming your registration.
