The coaching and management staff of the New Zealand Senior Men’s (Ice Blacks) national ice hockey team are proud to announce travelling team selections for the 2023 IIHF World Championships.

The team, named in memory of #6 Dale Harrop, will compete in the Division 2, Group B event, to be held in Istanbul, Turkey 17 – 23 April 2023.

Dale has been named to the 2023 team in honour of his legacy and contribution to the Ice Blacks, and ice hockey in general in New Zealand, over his more than 20 years in the sport.

The Harrop family and the Ice Blacks team wish to express their gratitude to supporters from around the world for sharing their condolences and messages of support.
