The NZIHF has recognised the immediate demand for more Learn to Play gear throughout each NZIHF affiliated region, to assist with the growth and development of youth ice hockey.
Accordingly, the NZIHF has agreed to re-introduce a two for one purchase match offer, up to the value as stipulated per region below.
Simply purchase any LTP item from our preferred supplier and sponsor, Centre Ice, and receive your second item free, courtesy of the NZIHF, up to the maximum value per region as listed below.
Regions will be required to pay Centre Ice upon receiving an invoice and the NZIHF matching contribution (up to the stated maximum amount) will be paid to the region thereafter. Regions must submit receipts and invoices to the NZIHF by 3:00pm Friday 31st July.
Maximum NZIHF Contribution Amounts:
- Auckland
$2,000.00 - Wellington $1,200.00
- Canterbury
$2,000.00 - Southern $6,000.00 ($1,200.00 per club)

This initiative is effective immediately as of 15th July 2020 and is subject to the following conditions:

NZIHF’s preferred supplier and sponsor, Centre Ice - Regions must pay Centre
Ice in full upon receiving their invoice, and then submit a receipt and
copy of the invoice to the NZIHF Treasurer via email – [email protected]
– for prompt reimbursement.
