This is an official NZIHF Disciplinary Statement, pertaining to the incidents in the NZIHL between the Botany Swarm and SKYCITY Stampede on Saturday 24 June 2017 in Game #15.

With 1:03 left in the Third Period, an incident occurred that led to the suspension of numerous players.

The NZIHF Disciplinary Panel has thoroughly reviewed the incident and has handed down suspensions to the following players (as of 29 June 2017):

#20 BSW: 2 Game Suspension

#13 BSW: 1 Game Suspension

#8 STP: 1 Game Suspension

With regards to the remaining players involved, the attached report provides the findings and actions taken.

The NZIHF does not condone fighting in its domestic leagues, and will remain vigilant with the Match Officials in assessing such cases.
