As part of their tour to Abu Dhabi for the 2019 Challenge Cup of Asia, the NZ U18 Womens team visited Grand Mosque, and were given a VIP tour.

In Abu Dhabi it is the Year of Tolerance, and the team was asked to demonstrate their support for tolerance, particularly in light of recent events in Christchurch.

The shooting in Christchurch, and New Zealand’s humane response to it, has had a particularly strong impact upon Abu Dhabi.
