The NZIHF and Queenstown Ice Hockey Club pleased to announce a senior ice hockey tournament in Queenstown, scheduled for the weekend of Friday 18 to Sunday 20 October 2024, for players aged 18 and over.
Named La Coupe des Montagnes – or – The Mountain Cup – the tournament aims to provide adult players a fun weekend of hockey, competing against other players from around New Zealand and Australia.
Team Managers will register a team, and then assign players to their team, or players can register as individual free agents and be assigned to a team.
The tournament cost is $1,500.00 per team. Teams will play 4 games across the weekend. A full schedule will be made available soon. The first game start on Friday at 6:15pm, and the last game will finish by 12:45pm on Sunday.
Pool A: Up to 5 NZIHL or AIHL players per team
Pool B: No NZIHL or AIHL players per team
Anyone from around New Zealand or Australia can register to participate. All players must be 18 years of age and older and hold an active NZIHF membership.

Registering a Team:

Adding Your Players
- Visit your esportsdesk dashboard, while logged in to your account, and click Registered Teams on the left
- On the new screen, the manager now needs to add their players to their online roster
- In the popup, click “Add person not in this list”
- Fill out the player roster details
Players – Accepting an Invitation
- Log in to your NZIHF esportsdesk account here: https://secure.esportsdesk.com/login.cfm?clientID=6795
- Accept the pending invitation that is viewable on your dashboard
- If you already have an active NZIHF membership, the system will recognise this. If you don’t have a current NZIHF membership, the system will recognise this and add one to your cart. You can then checkout and pay to accept their invite.
