The 2022 New Zealand Women’s Ice Hockey League (NZWIHL) schedule has been released, and can be viewed in its entirety on the NZWIHL website: https://www.nzwihl.com/schedule/

With the 2021 season cut short due to COVID-19, we can’t wait to be back on-ice to witness the best of New Zealand’s female players compete against each other.

The 2022 season will see all four of the country’s top women’s teams competing on-ice in a round robin + playoffs format, which begins on August 12th.

Dunedin will play host to a combined semi-final and grand-finals weekend, on the weekend of 24th and 25th September.

2022 has also seen the launch of a new logo to represent the NZWIHL – a logo which incorporates te ao Māori, reflecting the connection our sport has to the land and culture in which we are a part of.
