Ice Hockey
(Australia) shoots, and scores
It will be
standing room only at the
Melbourne Icehouse
for the
Australian Ice Hockey
League Goodall Cup
finals this weekend. Not a big
deal, you might say, in a venue
that holds only 1000 seats.
But until
two years ago, to watch the
Melbourne Ice battle Newcastle,
Sydney and Adelaide teams for
the national title, you would
have been travelling to a grungy
suburban outpost to sit with
maybe a couple of hundred
diehards.
